||51||: We Are All Connected

Photo by Daria Shevtsova

All human beings are connected. It’s like we’re all holding onto ropes that tie to each other. The bond is closer and stronger with people you’ve met; the longer or better you know someone, the easier it is to tune into their energy.

Spirituality reminds you to be who you truly are (self knowledge). It teaches you to keep your balance of mind under pressure situations and that we are all connected

We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.

Henry Melvill

I watched the people passing below, each of them a story, each story part of somebody else’s, all of it connected to the big story of the world. People weren’t islands, so far as I was concerned. How could they be, when their stories kept getting tangled up in everybody else’s?

Have you ever thought about a friend and in a few minutes they call you? Maybe in that moment you are stunned and slightly startled. And you answer the phone with a smile or maybe you screen the call and avoid them.

The point is, we are all connected no matter the distance.
Imagine how different life would be if we used that same energy to think about the life we want instead of where we are now. Some of us are in solitude, or feeling stuck at home and literally feel trapped due to finances or legal obligations.
I encourage you to use your time visualizing where you want to be, every single detail. Life is constantly changing and nothing lasts forever.

I’d like to use my energy visually and mentally creating the life I want. I want to continue blogging in hopes of creating a collection of stories and poems about my journey on freedom. I would like to return to school without taking out numerous loans and I’d like to complete each task I start. So I can confidently say, I trust myself and I get my tasks done.

I challenge you to think about what you want, who you want and where you want to be now and beyond.

Sending love & light,
